Meaning: This little poem narrates the story of a virtuous elephant. An elephant visits the town, "our town". She drinks water in the town and then waters the plants, which produces beautiful blooms and then fruits and vegetables. The elephant eats the produce and also generously shares it with all the people of the town! How very grateful!
A beautiful little rhyme that conveys the message that you must always give back to the society and be good to people.

Author: Shreedevi Rapur

Raaga's Play: Raaga began listening to this rhyme since her new born days. It was mostly sung while burping her. We would make her sit on our lap, support her tender neck by placing one hand under her chin and the other hand on her back and rocking her back and forth. She enjoyed listening to it always! By around 6.5 months, when she learned to sit by herself without support, she would rock back and forth by herself when she heard this rhyme!
