Rani bitiya chali ghumne
(Hindi poem)
Rani bitiya chali ghumne Jaipur se Kaleshwar, chalte chalte chalte chalte pohunch gayi chandigarh,
Chandigarh se Delhi pohunchi, Delhi se Rameshwar, Rameshwar se chalte chalte, pohunch gayi apni Garh,
Ma ne pooncha, rani bitiya, kaha thi ghar ke baahar, bitiya boli, kahin nahin ma, me mein thi ghar ke andar.
Ghar ke andar bitiya rani, aisa jhoot sarasar?
Jhoot nahin ma, sach Kaheteen hoon, Bharat mera ghar hai

Meaning:
This is a very pretty song narrating the story of a little girl who walks around exploring different places in India (exaggerating though..u cannot possibly walk to these places). She wanders about and then finally returns home, when the worried mom asks her whereabouts. This little girl coolly says, she was at home all this while. Furious mum questions her for lying, this little girl very sweetly responds that India is her home!!

Raaga's play:
Raaga's grandma would sing this song to soothe Raaga when she was around 4 month old. She would very keenly listen to the song and would sometimes even fall asleep!
